You’ll only need 1 8 pin for that CPU. 

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

Using both 8 pin connectors is only needed when you're overclocking high end processors, and even then it's debatable.

Each connector is good for more than 300 watts of power, while the processor you mention consumes maybe at most 50 watts.

 

No, you don't have to upgrade your power supply.
