I understand completely trying to stretch and buy as much as you possibly can, and that the PSU most likely WILL NOT explode or kill the entire world.  But there is a chance, as noted by the rating on the PSU which it was given because shit HAS happened.

Now that you know that, buy your 6600, undervolt or not, and buy quality components in the future.  You bought a 6600 and not a Chinese knockoff piece of shit, so bring the rest of your machine to that level.  Balance.

current pc
CPU: AMD r5 2600
RAM: 16GB 2400mhz
GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 ARMOR 3G OCV1
PSU: VS Series™ VS450 — 450 Watt Power Supply
MOTHERBOARD: gigabyte ab350 gaming 3

Is my power supply enough for the card? the amd page says 450w is enough but the asus page says 500w, Is it feasible to use this card on my current PC without upgrading the power supply?

Corsair VS450 with a grey label is D tier PSU,

I don't recommend 450W low quality PSU on a system that needs 400W roughly, because PSU Wattage doesn't mean it can power with the number it says.

450W PSU if it's effectivity is low can deliver 360W or even less.

So, it's better that you get similar W PSU with higher quality, or higher W PSU whith silighty higher quality..

No. Corsair VS is a very low quality groupregulated PSU. I don't recommand it for any system with dGPU.

so I need to upgrade no way to make this work like underclocking or undervolting for now?

You could make it work, but you might be risking your hardware.

Ok so the psu is that bad? I had no idea, but if it is feasible Ill undervolt in the here and now and wait for a nice discount on a decent powersupply thanks for the advice!

It's not THAT bad, I mean you're playing the odds here though.  Even if 0.01% of them fail and take components with them... that PSU is connected to almost every other component in the machine.  A bad surge can indeed fry something.

Will it?  Most likely not.  But it's like driving a nice car on shit tires.  Are you going to be fine.  Most likely.  But if a perfect storm of shit happens, will that PSU protect things from surges?  Not a bet I want to take with my $1000 rig 🙂

The good thing is now you know, you can make any decision you want.  We've done our job 🙂
