I just finished my first PC build were I put my new xfx r7 260x in an old PC but it does not want to detect it. I have power attacht and the fan is spinning but it does not work. I need help quick.

Do you have another computer you can test the GPU in? Might be something with the motherboard or the GPU.

What cable are you using to connect it? Try reinstalling the GPU and if that doesn't work try using different cables (DVI/Hdmi/VGA). What are the specs of the machine?

Please give us some proper information. Specs of the system. Have you updated the bios. Cleared old drivers?

Are you giving the GPU enough power? and is the display cable plugged into the GPU? Make sure that it's correctly seated in the PCI-e lane

It has een Intel celeron D 3gh 2gb ram and 16x PCI-E revision 1
