Peripherals avoiding PC to Power On

So, I have 2 pcs connected to a single monitor (using a cheap HDMI splitter, 2 in -> 1 out).

One pc is a Dell notebook, connected trough its dock station to the HDMI splitter.

Other is an old Desktop, connected to the other HDMI split in.

I noticed that when the Dell and its dock station are ON my desktop doesn’t power on…, when I disconnect the HDMI from the desktop or disconnect the notebook from dock station my desktop returns to power on when plugged in power oulet.

My first assumption is that either dock station or HDMI splitter are messing with the desktop ability to power…

Any clues? Anyone experienced this before?
