ROG X570-I Chipset Hitting 85c Under Load

Have been doing some testing in a new case I got (Fractal Design Pop Silent) and noticed my Chipset temps are getting insanely hot. They've always been really bad, but this time it seems a bit much. What are the upper limits for an X570 chipset? After 2hrs of playing COD MW2, these are the temps I got with an aggressive fan profile.

GPU (Gigabyte RX6800 Gaming OC)
Core Max: 71c

Hotspot Max: 81c

Memory Junction: 84c

SOC Max: 85c

VDDC Max: 86c

CPU (3900X at 4.1Ghz 1.2125v)

Hottest Core: 71.4c

CCD1 Limit: 74c

CCD2 Limit: 72c

X570 Chipset

Chipset: 85c

Chipset RPM Average: 7200RPM

M.2 1 (Gigabyte Gen4)

Temp Max: 63c

M.2 2 (Kingston NV1)

Temp Max: 67c

In AIDA64, the entire PC overheats regardless of settings. I'm using a Deepcool AK620 so this is odd. I've also got a BeQuite Dark Base 500, but would prefer not to use it. Looking like I might have to though.

Did you remove the top vent cover of the case? If not, you want a pretty powerful fan in the rear, something that makes a lot of noise, otherwise temps just keep climbing with no way for air to exchange. 85C on the chipset is a bit warm to my liking but within spec, so nothing to worry about.

Your system is starved for air.

Swapped back to the Dark Base 500 and replaced the VRM and Chipset thermal pads. System not totally saturated for that duration, but seems more acceptable now?

Looks good and stable to me, well done.
