GTX 970 or RX 570

Looks like the RX 570 tends to do better in games.

Quick question.  I'm going to be throwing a pc together from my old parts.  I just don't know which would be better to pair with the FX 6300.  Should i go GTX 970 or RX 570 4GB.  Lastly I already own both cards so I'm not buying anything new

Low end gaming.  I'm gonna just slap it together and then give it away.  I was hoping to avoiding all driver installations and bench-marking but thanks for responding.

The gpu is going to require a driver regardless of speed

By driver installationS I meant the minimum TWO I would have to do and the ONE uninstallation minimum if I were to compare them.  I know what to do to test them I'm just asking the forum for their knowledge out of laziness I guess.
