Motherboard stops reporting temps and fan speed?

I have had this setup for a couple of years and all of the sudden i cant open hw monitor all temps (except GPU) and fan rpms freeze and any fan controlled by the motherboard no longer changes according to temps ive reinstalled windows and reinstalled by bios no changes. There was a period it randomly started working again then stopped a few days later without changing anything 
P.S i have allot of corsair rgb and allot of usb devices im sure all of that reports on the usb bus but everything else works fine
