does anyone know anything about this

shackle

you'll need to ask a lot more than that if you want any useful responses.

It's a shiny, expensive, oled TV.

You can also put more info in the Topic so you can attract people with "TV" rather than "can you help".

It's a 4k TV with an α9 Gen5 AI processor, Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro
Narrow bezel, Dolby Vision IQ with Precision Detail and Dolby Atmos. It's an OLED so has, Infinite Contrast, Dazzling darks, luminous lights
With no backlight to dull their impact, Self-lit pixels can achieve the deepest blacks, for extreme contrast. Discover realistic images that reveal subtle, beautiful details you may previously have missed.

In the future, your Thread Subject title should include useful information about the issue (in this example, instead of "does anyone know anything about this", which is vague, and not helpful, I would have put " Does anyone know the difference between LG C1 vs C2?" or something like that). Your post itself is also basically useless in terms of conveying your question.

Now, please don't take offence to these words. I'm not attacking you or trying to belittle you. I'm giving you constructive feedback so the next thread you create will receive better attention, instead of people posting multiple times asking "HUH?".

Now, on to your actual question:

The LG C2 OLED is slightly better than the LG C1 OLED, although the performance of the two is quite similar. The C2 is a bit brighter, especially in SDR and when displaying small, bright highlights in HDR. The C2 has a slightly wider color gamut but worse tone mapping, so it doesn't respect the creator's intent as well. The C2 also has slightly improved smart features, including a new hands-free voice control feature, and the smart interface now supports user profiles, meaning you can customize the user experience to each member of your family.

Basically, the LG C2 is more or less identical to the C1, except slightly better in almost every way. The C1 came out in 2021, and the C2 is the 2022 model. It's just slightly newer and with slightly improved specs.

Both are going to be absolutely kickass TV's. The C2 is just a bit better.

BTW, RTings is hands down the best resource for TV reviews on the Internet. I recommend reading the entire comparison article, and reading the individual reviews for each if you're considering buying one or the other.

IMO, I'd buy the C2, unless I could get the C1 with a substantial discount.
