Hey guys, so I got my loop up and running, and there's a leak somewhere. Every time I come check on it, there's a small puddle on top of the power supply/pump stand, but no water trail, or leaks that I can see.

So I have a FrozenQ reservoir, connected to a Swiftech MCP655, with a Bitspower mod kit and top, with a male to male fitting. Any ideas where it could be coming from?

I've wrapped napkins around all the fittings before, and the graphics card fittings are fine. If it's the res, I have no idea which one it's coming from, since there's 3 fittings and 5 plugs and I can't see a water trail

Sometimes it's best to take it all apart and try again.

Sigh, I'll keep that as a last resort. It was a pain getting in there to tighten all those fittings. Could it be the pump and the top not making a good seal?

It's entirely possible.

if the ress is more than 1 solid part i bet that some of the fittings or seals are broken

The res has leaked before from the caps, and it's definitely not coming from there. The only way water from the res could end up on the PSU is if the bottom stop fitting is leaking (unlikely since it overhangs the PSU and it'd end up on the case floor, not the power supply) or the male to male fitting.

I've stuck a napkin around that for the time being and I'll check up on it once in a while. If it's not that, what else could it be?

wowzerz! That's some close-up shots there bud ;). I gather you've made sure that excess ports on the pump/res combo have been tightened properly and the fittings have an O-ring on them? Also don't over tighten the fittings because you'll push the O-ring out of shape, they should be only hand tightened.

Perhaps make sure aswell that the res is screwed in tightly. The fitting that joins the pump and res together looks really suss to me.

Wanted to make sure you guys could all see. ;) Yep, I've wrapped napkins around all the fittings and they're fine, so I think it's the res/pump. Although if I screw it in any more, I don't think that one fitting will hold up a res full of water....

I tested it for one more day with napkins all around the male to male fitting. No leaks there, but there's another puddle on the pump stand thing. The only thing down there is the pump top. I don't think it's coming from the stop plug, so could there be a crack somewhere?

i was cracking a joke about male to male as in nevermind. but yeah. it might be a crack, if you cant find the lead i would assemble it outside and put it in the hot tub or a bucket and see where the air bubbles comes from

Wow I'm slow. Didn't notice that at all....  ;) The top is pretty thick though, so I doubt there'd be a crack throughout the whole thing.... I'm starting to think it's either the pump seal, or a stop fitting
