Is It Possible to Get PCSX2 to Detect My Keyboard and Mouse as the Playstation 2 Versions?

I wanted to see if I could set up Linux for Playstation 2 on PCSX2. I got the ROMs downloaded and got it set up to the point where it is requiring me to use the Playstation keyboard and mouse. I can't find any settings in PCSX2's normal settings and controls tabs. I was just wondering if it may be possible to set it up through the config files, if there's a setting I'm missing, or if I'm screwed.

 

I'm on the latest build of PCSX2 (v1.7.3526) and I am having to use the Japanese version of Linux for Playstation 2 if any of that helps.
