Hey all!

I shopped forever to pick out fans for my build and chose Be Quiet Light Wings. I wanted something with a ring, Corsair's pricing was outrageous, and a couple of other reasons.

I picked a box of 3 up for nearly half off like new from a guy who didn't end up using them in a build. SICK!

Problem is, I'm not sure I can make them work with my motherboard. 😞

Here's the setup:

  • Motherboard is MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon
  • It has one LED strip header called "JLED1". This is a 4 pin header. Pinout it "I R G B" according to the manual.
  • The Be Quiet hub that came with the fans has a 3-pin ARGB header and the motherboard doesn't have one, so I have no way of connecting it*
  • I cannot find pinout diagrams for the Be Quiet Light Wings. (I've seen prior forum posts where users re-arranged the pins in fans etc to get them working.)

*Main problem I'm trying to solve

My Question:

Is there a way I can control ARGB fans from iCue on this motherboard?

Last thoughts:

It looks like I might be able to use a Cooler Master or Corsair ARGB controller to do this...

I have heard of SignalRGB but am hesitant to install a THIRD RGB control mechanism on my computer.
