Xbox 360 (Xenon) no A/V signal.

I have acquired a free Xbox 360 in unknown working order from the first generation (Xenon). I opened it up and reinstalled new cooling paste and dusted everything off with compressed air. I plugged it in, everything turned on, no red rings with the A/V cable from another Xbox 360. But it does not give any audio or video signal. I have tested the cable with another Xbox 360 and the cable and television work. The port of the Xbox 360 works because otherwise it would give a red ring according to the support website. 

 

Any idea what could be the culprit? GPU maybe?
