Hello! I'm looking to do my first ever PC build, but all the people I ask have given me mixed input on CPU and really most everything else. i really just want to make sure im not wasting money anywhere in my build so any help would be greatly appreciated. As for preferences I don't have any, intel or AMD doesn't matter unless it'll get me better performance for the cost. Also, I've went without RGB because it just adds to the cost, i can get strips later on if I really want it.

This is the build I have https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DCL3Bj

Thank y'all for the help

Welcome to the forum!

I'll just go point form since it's easier:

  • You're building with a last gen CPU; I'd get a 13600k instead
  • Are you sure 1TB is enough space? Games are getting quite large these days and I think you'll find that fills up awfully fast. It's not a great deal more to add a 512GB drive to use for OS/downloads/crucial programs
  • I'd probably look at getting a better case, GamersNexus usually has great case shootouts
  • You can get a 6800XT less, and for slightly more a 6900XT. If you have no use for the adds that Nvidia has, that might be worth a look.

When asking questions like this it's always best to include your monitor resolution, desired refresh rate, etc.

This, for example, is only an extra $50.
