I just got a 12700k cpu

I have a cool master aio with 2 nautica outtake fans.

Other fans:

3 front intake, 1 back outtake

My cpu while gaming is hitting high 80's and sometimes 90. With all fans on high

What should i do? I tried underclcoking voltage, but for some reason did not change temps at all which i found kinda weird. I offset up to -0.150v and not changes.

Remove the cooler and check if it has a proper mount, re-paste if needed. You don't have to actually re-paste if the application is fresh, I usually just add a small dot in the area that looks thinner on paste and just put it back on again.

Mounting pressure could also be an issue, are you sure you tightened the bolts/nuts properly?

Are you dropping boost clocks or just running hot? AFAIK these are meant to boost into the 80s/90s same as current Ryzen chips, so long as they're below max safe temps and you aren't dropping boost clock, should be fine.

What game are you playing that actually loads up the CPU to that level?

Oh true, most games won't push a CPU that hard. Though not sure if these new chips will just run a single/few core(s) very fast (some monitoring software will grab whatever the highest core is running and report that as full CPU temp). So could be that, or something's fucky with either mount pressure or the AIO itself.

I am running halo infinite. the CPU is only around 30% usage. Is the case to small for this processor and 3080 ti. or will this size work? it was fine with my I7 9700f.

Do i need new cooler. what about something like this. is my case to small? is it worth it? Below is the pc with new mobo

If you didn't overclock the 12700K it should not run that hot, unless your case is really restrictive, can't see the front, but you do have lots of fans.

Check the cooler mount...

Have you tried reseating the cpu block?

What rpm are the pump and cooler fans running at? Are power limits at stock or raised?
