Will a I5 12500 bottleneck a 6700XT

Hello Guys,

Planning on building a PC, right now the 6700XT and 12500 is a good deal. Building it on an MSI B660 mortar max Wi-Fi DDR4 motherboard.

Should I be concerned about the CPU limiting the GPU?

PS : The pc will be used for gaming only.

Pls edit the title, i5-2500 is a CPU that came out over a decade ago...

 

12500+6700XT is fine unless you're playing some really CPU heavy games, simulators basically.

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s
