ASUS 4090 TUF vs OC version

I missed my chance to get the base TUF model which is the cheapest for me in Australia, however the TUF OC version is still available yet there's a $500AU price difference and spec wise the difference is marginal. Anyone know where the $500 difference comes from?

Comes from fools/uninformed who thinks they are different on a hardware level and the non OC version cannot keep up

 

There could be max power limit difference that allows the OC to overclock higher, but I think de8auer did testing and found that at 350w the 4090.still pumps out 90% of performance. Hence I dont think this is the kind of card that gians much through overclocking in the first place.

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s

There is no difference between them what so ever

Well, the main difference is the clock speed but the card will turbo on its own depends on power availability and temp + you can always oc is manually
