I've recently bought an Anker 565 USB-C Hub (11-in-1), however on plugging it into a 1440p monitor don't have the option to output and higher than 1080p at 60Hz which looks horrid. I've had it plugged in directly via a USB C - C cable from the laptop to monitor until now which has had no issue outputting at 1440p at 165Hz.

I'll put the details on what I've tried already and the products below.

Dell XPS 15 9500 (Have tried in most recent windows release and most recent beta release)

MSI Optix MPG321QRF-QD 32 Inch (can only get windows to output at 1080p 60Hz)

Dell 24 HUB Monitor - U2421HE (This one works fine)

Tried and failed:

- updating display drivers

- deleting drivers then restarting device

- all 3 usb c port on the laptop

- DP and HDMI ports on the hub

- two sets of DP and HDMI cables that should both be capable out that output.

- latest full and beta releases of windows (tried after a fresh reinstall too, though the reinstall was for something else).

Help, and thank you in advance!

That resolution and refresh rate requires 16.3 Gbps bandwidth. As far as I can see, the hub's fastest port is 10 Gbps. It should definitely be able to do 1440p@60Hz, but it's possible the monitor isn't properly detected through the hub, or the hub simply doesn't have the bandwidth it promises.
