Which System is best overall?

Long story short, I found myself with two systems to choose from but I only have one RTX-3070.

The first system has a Ryzen 5 2600 and 16GB RAM in dual channel. This is currently my daily driver and has the 3070 in it.

The second system has a Threadripper 1600X with 16GB RAM in quad channel. What, if anything, would this system be better at than the other and is it worth putting the 3070 in?

You mean Threadripper 1900X?

The Threadripper system has basically no advantage over the 2600 system for a gaming system. For a production rig it might be a slight bit better, but barely. I'd keep it in the 2600 based system, it's just better.

TR System (I am an HEDT nut). It won't be much worse than the 2600 and yay quad channel RAM and plenty of PCIe lanes/other advanced features if you wanna goof around with stuff.

If you just want a box that does computer stuff, then the 2600 is better.
