Upgrading from Ryzen 2000 to 5000 series on B450 Tomahawk (non-max)

I currently have an R7 2700 and just bought a 5600. The thing is that 5000 series is supported in the latest BIOS, but it drops support for Ryzen 2000 CPUs. What is the best way of updating BIOS in this case?

I'd boot and update using the 2700.. Once the update is complete shutdown the system and swap CPU's..

 

Once it says complete it will prompt to reboot or shutdown.. Doesn't matter.. Just power down and install the 5600
