Dell XPS Return Policy?

I recently purchased a dell xps laptop. I have not received it yet though.

 

 

I know that if you order a laptop and it has issues, you can return it. But when you do that, typically what happens? Do they send you the same model? Do they give you refund? Do they give you dell credit to be used in the future?

 

 

Now what if you purchased the laptop but do not even open the box and want to return it? If so, I assume there is always a 15% restocking fee and you have to pay shipping back or do they cover this? I believe best buy you can return it for free up to 15 days and costco allows you up to 90 days. What if you open the box and use the laptop and there are issues that you do not like such as say the battery is much less than it is or there is some other issue but it isn't like an actual big issue? Now if you only get 3 hours of battery when just web browsing, obviously that is a big issue. If you return it, do you get a refund?

 

 

Could you also have cancelled the order free of charge if it was during the in production process? But once you receive it, what are you options? I have bought dell laptops previously for years and never had to return one.

And if the answer isn’t their contact sell through chat or email and they’ll give you an answer. It’s not run through LMG so you’ll likely be answered fairly soon.
