My friend got a little problem here that we can't seem to get around

Specs:

I7 6700K

H105 AIO

Asus z170 Pro

G.Skill Ripjaws 16gb 3000MHz cl15

RTX 2070 Gaming oc

Corsair force 240gb

WD Blue 1TB

Seasonic 850w bronze

His pc just shuts down when its under a heavy load

No BSOD its just losing power

As if the psu is not enough

tried with a new psu, still crashes

tried with a gtx 1080, still crashes

tried with no gpu, still crashes

tried with a different ram kit, still crashes

tried every single ram slot, still crashes

tried with a new ssd (fresh OS), still crashes

tried a CMOS clear with both the battery and button, still crashes

tried with a spare I3 6100 and it first it didn't crash (fortnite was ruuning and pc wasn't crsahing) but as soon as he opened csgo it crashed again

I think that its the motherboard (since there is nothing left) but my friend wants to be 1000% sure before he goes and buys a new cpu+mobo

Code error that's on the motherboards is '00' which can mean corrupted bios but he did try to update them and it still didn't work

Are you certain this is actually working?

Run CPUTemp on the system (under Windows) and see what temps are like, then start up something intensive, but in a window, see if the temps go out of control

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

fans are working

cpu is at 50-60c underload when it crashes

we ran 3dmark and aida64 stress test

I am not a fan of g.skill RAM, I have seen too many issues with that stuff (though I am in the minority here, FWIW) have you tested with lower speeds on the RAM?
