12 gen intel ddr5 ram problem ?

i helped my buddy build his pc and it worked good till it went a cople hours and blue screen ....so i turned on xmp and still happened so turned it off and then i took out one stick (16 gig 2x) and no more crash after a week he wanted to try the other stick and it works went like 2 weeks like that so he was like ill put both back in and see what it dose and bluescreen crashes to desktop within 30 min or faster every time saying a memory problem
