I have an olddd very old 9800 gtx+ gpu and Ive been using it for basic stuff and I turned off the pc today normally with 0 issues and the next time I turn it on there is no image on the display. Everything else works, the fan on the gpu spins the keyboard and mouse lights up and I can hear the hdd working but the gpu doesnt wanna give image. The pic below is showing how the gpu is connected. Im using a dvi to vga adapter to connect it to my monitor. Is there any trick or anything I can do to make it work

Try another cable and/or adapter first.

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post

That’s a passive adapter. Use a different cable.

Do you have another PC you can plug the adapter in to?

what is a passive adapter? I cannot use a different cable since the GPU has only 2 DVI ports and my monitor only has 1 vga and 1 hdmi port so I have to use some kind of an adapter.
