Raspberry Pi 4 as "steam stream device" for living room

JewPacaBraZ

Is there a way i can have any sort of steamlink on my raspberry pi 4? I tried installing steamlink ( sudo apt install steamlink ) on a clean raspbian(latest) but i got errors, it demanded a downgrade to the older Buster raspbian for X11 support. The problem is , i have trouble connecting my XBOX one controller on Buster but its fine on the latest rasbian. Is there a way to install steamlink normally, with X11 support on the newer raspbian or am i doomed?

Is Moonlight a client-side option for you? (It requires an Nvidia card on the PC side.)

An heads up for Moonlight, I have tested it on my Raspberry Pi 4 and I had very varying results in performance between different SD Cards, supposedly both the same speed but one of them multiplied the stutter tenfold
