Aside from the aesthetic and noise differences, is there any particular reason you want liquid cooling? It's not required on any consumer-market setup and sometimes is more trouble than it's worth.

For the normies way of custom loops china has the best value, look at high quality china alternative brands like barrow or bykski, perform within margin of big brands like ek while being half or 1/3 the price, no they are not unreliable or any bullshit concerns like that, theyre established watercooling companies too, just happen to undercut the bigger companies (sometimes by alot)

Basically with ek you pay a ton but only get pathetic garbage like a slim 20mm 480 rad, but byski offers a 60mm 480 rad at the same price (~90$ on aliexpress btw) and thats a copper rad not the cheap unbranded aluminium rads, thats the kind of comparison im making here

Though aside from china stuff ive heard alphacool is also a decent option for cutting costs aswell

^^^

Cpu and gpu core oc (aside from lower end ones) is completely dead so if you are watercooling for that then dont, ram watercooling is also useless btw (fans do a much better job than just an ambient waterloop) so unless you are doing a chiller loop for subzero rams dont bother

Noise wise yes youll have a quieter pc but if you have a beefy cpu and gpu aircooler already just undervolt them and theyll prob run just as quiet

Leaving aesthetics to be the only reason, though aesthetics are useless so thats invalid =p

All good. There just seems to be a consensus amongst some that certain processors or certain builds require it, and it simply isn't true.

As good a reason as any since it's your $.

You might want to pose the question in https://linustechtips.com/forum/36-custom-loop-and-exotic-cooling/.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
