Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is not supported on this platform. Continue without virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT?

Dafydd Taylor

Hey I am having this issue where I can not get my VM to start for nested VMs which I need for school. This is what happens if I enable Virtulized intel VT-x/EPT. I have tried turning off Hyper V on the host and following other guides but I still cant use it.

I will list the 2 errors I get below.

Virtualized Intel VT-x/EPT is not supported on this platform.

You need to turn off Virtualize Intel-VT-x/EPT or AMD-V/RVI and Virtualize IOMMU if they are enabled in the processor setting on the vms hardware

But I need it to work for school. So I'm not sure what to do.
