Why no option for 1000w gold?  Don't need titanium .

What specific models are you looking at?

I've got a hard time believing that there isn't a cheaper than Titanium unit out there, titanium units tend to cost a small fortune.

The hx 1000 is a platinum unit not a titanium, since titanium ones usually cost way more. What's the cost of the psu/ what country are you buying from?

That's a platinum rated unit, not Titanium.

Wattage doesn't matter nearly as much as the actual unit. There are people on here that run similar systems on 750W units and manage to get away with it, and there are 1000W units that will trigger OCP with a 3090. A good 850W is what you need, but you need to verify that it's actually a good unit

a good 850w will cover you.

I went with a 1,000w for that extra headroom for future potential high draw GPU's though.  I got an RMx1000 corsair for $120 on Amazon.  I think EVGA had some in that price range as well but i stuck with corsair so i could use the same type 4 custom cables i already had.  If you go with a 1,000w PSU make sure you have the room for it.  I went from a RMx750 to the RMx1000 inside a Lian Li Lancool 2 case using the HDD cage and it wouldn't fit.  SO the PSU upgrade required a new PSU and a new case LOL... oh well.

Edit- So I must of got mine on Sale because the RMx1000w on amazon is now $164 but the EVGA G5 1000w gold is $124 https://smile.amazon.com/EVGA-Supernova-Modular-Warranty-220-G5-1000-X1/dp/B07WMTD41Z/ref=sr_1_3?crid=SIWB7DULJ65W&keywords=1000w+power+supply&qid=1662178836&sprefix=1000w+power+supply%2Caps%2C145&sr=8-3&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.f5122f16-c3e8-4386-bf32-63e904010ad0

I definitely wouldn't buy G5 over RMx with that price difference, especially not with a 3090 in the system.
