Pcie cable query

Tom80765412

Hey all,

Psu: Corsair RM750x

Gpu: palit 3070 8gb

My question is should I use a single PCIe cable for my gpu 2x 8pin slots or two separate cables for each slot?

Which one is better and why?

If you can use 2 separate cables, use separate.

If your GPU pulls a lot of power then you should use two separate cables. Because one cable might not be rated for that amount of power. It shouldn’t really matter for a 3070 though.
