Budget (including currency): 1000-1200€

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Borderlands3, Witcher3, Elden Ring, Warframe, Modded Mc (upcoming and existing AAA and MMO´s) Movie Streaming (Basic Browser stuff)

Existing parts:
Summit Ridge 14nm Technology
AMD Ryzen 5 1600X

ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. PRIME X370-PRO (AM4)
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (Gigabyte)
232GB Crucial CT250MX500SSD1 (SATA (SSD))
1863GB Seagate ST2000DM006-2DM164 (SATA )
Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB (2x8) DDR4 3200MHz C16 XMP 2.0 Enthusiast RGB
Monitors:
VG278 (1920x1080@144Hz)Asus

BenQ EL2870U (3840x2160@60Hz)
Other stuff:
Razer Huntsman V2, Razer Naga Trinity, Razer Nari Wireless

Not sure about the Power supply and cpu cooler cant find anything unless i open the pc and take it apart ,it should be around 550-600 Watt for the power supply, and a bequiet Rock..
Same problem with the case i think it was a Sharkoon Medium Tower

OS Windows 10

Why are you upgrading?
Well how to explain basically the main thing i want to upgrade is the Case frontside fans are starting to struggle it has an annoying tik sound when i leave the front panel on.also 2 frontside usb ports are broken one doesnt work at all and the other has a "loose contact" a few games are struggling with Fps.
The other reasons are i wanted to include a bit more RGB into my system and i was playing with the idea of using the parts i would have left over to create a server on wich i could run games like modded minecraft, ark ect.

Aim?
i want to play AAA titles on High settings with a High Framerate and be able to Stream Movies while gaming (not necessarily the AAA titles i probably want full focus on them 🙂 ) I want RGB in my system/case and like i said looking to make my own server to Host games.
The case should be with glass panels(so i can see Rgb obv) 🙂
Also im not necessarily looking to buy everything at once, if there is something new coming out soon im fine with waiting like i said its not that games are unplayable at the moment i was just looking for help to WHAT i should upgrade and what components are good.

all advice and tipps are greatly appreciated
ps: sorry for my bad english 🙂

Easy update :
Get a new case so you can get around broken connectors/bad fans. P400 mesh, Fractal torrent or Corsair 4000D.

Ryzen 5 5600X / A B550 (or Intel gen 12 equivalent)
Ditch the 4K monitor for a 2K panel, your 2070 is never going to run a AAA in 4K smoothly.
Better SSD for data, like a WD blue 2tb to help with load time.

Welcome to the forums!

High framerate AAA on high at 4K requires top tier hardware. My 5950X/3080Ti can usually push past 100FPS on 4ish year old AAA games

Honestly, if you really want to do all that, you should think about doubling budget, making a current gen high end build when next gen comes out, flip the 2070, and turn the old rig into a server.

5950X/4090FE primary rig  |  1920X/1070Ti Unraid for dockers  |  200TB TrueNAS w/ 1:1 backup

Your English is fine! First thing I'd look at is upgrading your cpu, but if you're fine with games for now, waiting for the 7000 series release would is what id do. If am5 is particularly inticing then that could be a possibility to go down that route. If not then you can get a nice price discount on am4 and slap it into your old mobo with just a bios update

The issue is the 144hz.  I play on an older system which isn’t horribly different cpu wise but has a good bit less video card.  (Haswell 4770k@4.0ghz with rx580) and can play basically everything there at 1080p@60fps. So you will get that.  I kinda wanna upgrade that cpu.  It’s the weak link, but your motherboard is x370, which can be very problematic with zen2 and zen3.  Maybe see what your motherboard will support with a bios update (which you will need to do) a 2070 is more-or-less a 3060 which is more-or-less a 1080.  There are a bunch of cards in that range.

Oh, one other thing:

that motherboard will have older style headers on it.  Make sure your front panel connectors can fit your motherboard for the case replacement.  Upside of this is the case will be cheaper. Could even throw a small sata or nvme (if it’s on the motherboard) SSD on there to use as a boot drive.  Makes startup much faster, and the little ones are cheap. You could get a new case, a new cpu, and a small ssd and stay well within budget.  Since your machine will run things though there may be an argument for saving up for another few months and get a whole new machine.  It’s a choice.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
