Is HP Omen 16 decent laptop?

Hello there. I have been looking for cheapest RTX 3060 or RX 6600M laptops for a while.

I have found HP Omen 16 laptop that cheaper than most RTX 3060 laptops in my country.

It has:

-AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Processor

-16GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM

-512 GB SSD

-AMD Radeon RX 6600M(100W) 8GB GDDR6 Graphics Card

-Vega 8 iGPU

-16.1" Full HD 144 Hz IPS Panel

-FreeDOS

My purpose: Video editing/rendering, JavaScript coding, Photoshop and gaming.

I think this laptop should be able to meet my expectations really well.

Is it decent laptop?

Thanks.

Pretty decent, the 6600M performs between a RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3060 (mobile versions of course) IIRC, so performance-wise, it should be good enough for 1080P gaming. Of course, what framerate you'd get with the RX 6600M really depends on the game engine. I have a Legion 5 Pro with the same CPU, but an RTX 3070 (was looking for an RX 6800M, or the RTX 3070) so the laptop ticks the right boxes for me.

Its alright, cools decently well.

However it has poor battery life and the screen is honestly just terrible in terms of color reproduction. It also has a higher response time than others which is noticeable
