AMD socket not moving when level is raised

So with the lever in the up position, you're not able to remove the CPU? Have you tried nudging the plastic socket tray that is suppose to slide with the retention lever?

It doesn't move a whole lot, as long as you can insert/remove the cpu while the lever is up and it holds the cpu in place when the lever is locked down then you're all good.
