Upgrade to 5600x ends in BSOD right after BIOS Post

Draftlight

Hey guys,

I need some help on the following situation:

Today I finally received my Ryzen 5600X which was supposed to exchange my 3700x due to bottleneck issue in regards of my GPU (see specs in signature).

After i exchanged the CPU with new Thermal Paste application I started the system, posted as usual ( had to reset TPM of course) and went straight ahead to test the performance in a game.
About 5 min into the game i got my first BSOD, which I didn´t think of much since i installed the new 22.8.1 Beta drivers via AMD Adrenaline Software.
So I did a basic restart and then i received a second BSOD directly on the login screen, the 3rd restart is where im stuck on now.
Since then I can´t post past the BIOS into any OS anymore with the 5600X (Windows can´t even create dump files at this point)

Steps i tried so far:

  • Reset BIOS
  • Flashed newest BIOS Version (at this time F36d for mine)
  • Started with minimal hardware requirements
  • Starting with Ubuntu from external Drive
  • Starting WinPE from external Drive
  • Slightly Changing VCore as per Reddit posts i found

Whatever I do atm, whenever the 5600X is in i can post into BIOS without issues (where its also recognized correctly), but as soon as any OS is going to boot up, it crashes and restarts teh system which ends in a bootloop.

If the 3700x is back in (as it is right now) everything works just as fine as before.

I already contacted the supplier since i feel like its a hardware issue, but they wont respond until monday.
Maybe someone has had the same issue and solved it or know how to fix it.

Thanks a lot in advance.
