Surface Laptop is overheating

I am having issues with my Surface Laptop 3 (Windows 11) it keeps burning my lap and doesn't run as fast as it did a couple of months ago.

Any idea's of what I can do to fix it?

Depending on how long you've had it, or the amount of dust in your home, I would recommend checking the inside of the Surface. Many Laptops have a tendency to overheat in those conditions. If that doesn't work, it might be worthwhile to RMA it, assuming the warranty is still viable, as they might have a solution that isn't entirely obvious or publicly viable.
