8 year old RM-850

I've got the option to buy a Corsair RM-850 for cheap. The guy has used it for 8 years, says there's nothing wrong with it. Should I buy it or just get a new PSU?

Don't! First gen RM weren't the best and came with a 5 year warranty for a reason. And if you really need 850w you don't want to power it with a 8 year old scnd hand PSU.

 

What's cheap?

What CPU and GPU do you want to power with it?

Powering a 5600x & Asus strix 3070.

 

I was thinking the same. I'll get a new one.
