With or without OCA for screen glass replacement?
1 hour ago, Millhaws said:Ive been using my original galaxy fold for the past 3 years and its been working great for me, but over that time some cracks have started to develop on the glass of the outer screen. I decided that I would try to replace the glass myself and found a replacement on aliexpress. However, on the page that is selling it, there are two options, one with OCA and one without OCA. I'm pretty new to phone repair and don't know what this means and which one I should go with. I've also never ordered from aliexpress before and am a little concerned about whether it is safe to do so at all. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it! Link to the store page below.
OCA is the name of the type of glue used to attach the screen to the phone. There's also LOCA
If you take off your phone screen, you will see it or atleast it's leftover residue which you will have to clean first.
I assume that the "with OCA" means they will send the screen replacement along with an OCA layer on the back side. or send you a bottle of it (dunno what brand & quality).

Not trying to be offensive or demeaning, but if you don't know OCA or LOCA, I advise you first thoroughly learn about screen replacing, and what kind of equipments you need.
