Multiple monitor and speaker setup (Hotkey for alternating between them, not needing them to on all the time)?

HenryC987

I have my PC connected to 3 different location
1) TV at living room through hdmi (sound output from TV to sound bar through hdmi arc)
2) monitor 1 in study room through display port 1 (sound output from motherboard soundcard output - AUX)
2) monitor 2 in another room through display port 2 (sound output from aux from monitor 2)

I wanted to know whats the easiest way to setup hotkey that will toggle visual and audio automatically, for example
1) CTRL + 1 to TV and soundbar
2) CTRL + 2 to monitor 2 and audio through monitor 2

3) CTRL + 3 to monitor 1 and motherboard soundcard output

Depends on what OS you are using of course, but i'll assume you use windows:

I recommend autohotkey (completely free and opensource).

If you don't want to learn the basics of scripting with AHK, just look up a standard script for what you want and modify it slightly.

like this one ! https://stackoverflow.com/questions/34501565/switch-between-three-3-audio-devices-using-autohotkey-ahk
