How to remove cpu cooler?

The cooler wont come off and theres no way to unscrew it. Help?

Twist it a bit, it’s probably stuck to the thermal paste. That looks like a pga socket so pulling it straight out can take the cpu out with it when it does this.

you can also try running the system for a few minutes to let the paste warm up, it’s sometimes easier to remove when it’s warm.

try to pull it up in circles dont put to much pressure otherwise cpu will be stuck on the cooler and destroy the socket

Turn on the PC. Let it sit in BIOS for a few minutes. Turn it back off, twist gently to the left and gently pull up.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.
