So i've been mining for years and i hooked up a 6600xt to my main rig with a long ass PCI riser cable so i could take my 5700xt out and RMA it before the warranty expired. It was working perfectly for like a month then i installed the 5700xt again did a DDU and removed the 6600xt and when i have the miner open and try to open a video the computer freezes up for like 10 seconds and then finally it play the movie. using VLC to play movies off both the computer and my NAS same results

I took out the 5700xt and put the 6600xt back in and did another round of DDU and its still bogging down. i dont get it

I had task manager open and there is no spikes in the memory or CPU usage when it hangs also looked at the graph on afterburner and still no spikes when it hangs. Ive tried underclocking and overclocking but no changes make any effect to the lagging out.
