Some comments

I wouldn't buy a $160 cooler for a $260 processor.  A $60-80 air cooler would work just as well and would be more reliable, but it won't have RGB.

ex.

$80 Noctua NH-U14S : https://pcpartpicker.com/product/DMjG3C/noctua-nh-u14s-8252-cfm-cpu-cooler-nh-u14s

$66 Scythe Fuma 2 Rev. B - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/D3Gbt6/scythe-fuma-2-revb-3944-cfm-cpu-cooler-scfm-2100

(Rev. B comes with LGA1700 mounting kit, the previous version doesn't have it in box, but can be ordered for free from custom support of Scythe website.)

There's no point in having two separate SSDs, just get a single 2 TB one and make a 500 GB partition if you want your OS separated.

I would argue you don't even need that much of a motherboard but.. plenty good mobos in the 150-175$ that would pair well with a 12600k ... but it is a good motherboard.

You could probably fit a 3070 TI into your budget, if you drop the excessive cooler and maybe take down the mobo a notch.

1080p 144hz 1ms response

With this budget, I'd personally upgrade the monitor to a. 1440p 144hz monitor, but it's up to you

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3g4ytn

The 12400f is a solid cpu for gaming and is mostly all thats needed

Good aftermarket cooler to keep it cool

Good mobo for the price

Cheapest kit of 16gb ram

Quality 2tb storage

If you don't feel like upgrading the monitor now, you can h

Just remove it and get the cheapest 12gb model of a 3080 and 32gb of ram
