Files Corruption in Windows

I have build a pc. It has gone through 7-8 power outages and a lot of CTRL+ALT+DELETE over the period of 1 month. Today my cpu usage shot upto 100% and Anti-malware executable was using my cpu the most. When i typed "sfc /scannow" in CMD, it showed some files were corrupted and are successfully repaired and the usage calmed down. I would like to know When my files were corrupted, are there any logs i can find? I want to know the time and the date. Please help.

I'm not sure if it's possible to say for sure exactly when the file got corrupted. Just that it may be related to one of your outages.

 

According to Microsoft SFC should have generated a log somewhere, though, so you may at least be able to find which files were deemed corrupted and repaired: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/deployment/analyze-sfc-program-log-file-entries

It's impossible to know when they were corrupted since it's an unexpected event and the system never even knew they were until you ran the scan.

I wouldn't necessarily worry about it. I've done new installs of Windows before, and sfc /scannow will report errors.
