Need help for my build.

Go to solution Solved by Fl0yd-,

to answer the actual questions,

- 850w is more than enough, you will get over-satisfying numerous cables in the box including single cables that has both 8 pins (use them myself)

- you should go with corsair for better compatibility.

I have the rm1000x if you have any questions, since they're in the same family.

Budget (including currency): 2400 euro

Country: Belgium

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: forza 5, rocket league

GPU. gaming z trio 3080
CPU. ryzen 9 5900

motherboard. Asus rog strix B550.A

Cpu cooler. Corsair h100i elite cappelix

SSD. samsung 980 pro 1TB

Case. Lian Li O11 dynamic

Ram. 32gb corsair vengeance rgb pro SL DDR4 3600

Monitors. Using a 27inch right now but I will be getting a 34 inch aswell

Hi everyone, im building my first pc and I have some questions,

My questions are that im getting a corsair rm850x PSU and I dont know if that is enough power for my setup, and the card also needs 2x 8pin so I dont know if there will be enough 8 pins.. some people say yes, and some say no so I came here for help.

My second question is if my motherboard has 2 rgb headers because I want some lian li SL120 fans and some corsair QL120 fans but then I will have 2 hubs, one for Lian Li and 1 corsair hub which im not sure if my motherboard has..?

Or should I just go all corsair..?

For ease of use, sticking to one brand of RGB is better. There still isn't a standardized RGB application, so every company has its own proprietary software.

budget wise, you're fine going for a crucial p2 500gb ssd and a seagate 2tb hdd to cut down on the price. rocket league can practically run on a toaster and forza would only differ in loading times unless you're desperate to load in as quick as you can.
