Sapphire 6700 non-pulse non-xt hands on experience?

Hi everyone,

I just discovered a retailer selling the Sapphire 6700 (non pulse version) for the same price as the 6600 xt nitro and 6650 xt pulse goes for (roughly 3.500 dkk)

I see that the 6700 is somewhat slimmer - 41 mm vs the 49 mm 6700 pulse xt or 45 mm pulse 6650 xt.

So my question is:

Have anyone tried this card, and what are your impressions of the fan noise? A quiet card is quite important to me, so buying a little screamer is not on the table - although the retailer has a physical store in my city, so returning should be a small issue.

Thanks in advance.

mITX is awesome! I regret nothing (apart from when picking parts or have to do maintainance *cough*cough*)

Jup, there is a Spanish guy who did a review on YT - it seems interesting. A smalle edit, it cost around 3700 dkk, and the cheapest i can find a 6600 xt nitro is for 3500 dkk, so they are in the ballpark.  🙂

I found this comparison to 3060 and 3060 ti, tested in more games at 1080/1440p with graphs 🙂

It would definetly outperform my current 3060 - although it runs fine for my needs. The primary reason to switch would be if it was a slim quiet card that i can fit in my mITX case 🙂

It is slim, just under two slots and should be pretty quiet with a 175W TDP:

Yup, that was also what i found. 41 mm. Should fit snugly in my node 304. Then its just a matter of noise, but i guess that i need to try it out to know for sure

Yeah. Usually sapphire coolers is pretty good. 🙂

Thats also the impression i have. I ordered a 5600 xt pulse before the crisis really took off, but my retailer couldn't get one, so i ended with a MSI gaming x 3060. Its fine, but too thick for my old case, and I got it 3 weeks before the 6600 xt was announced. So I still consider if i should just bear with it it for now - its a good build, or if i should buy the 6600 xt nitro or this 6700 card and go mITX again. 1st world problems, i know.
