5v is 5v, whether it come from type a, c or micro b. It will only draw as much current as it is rated for. A good quality adapter should be safe. I'm surprised you don't have a random micro lying around.

Hi,
I would like to know if the Samsung EP-T1510XBEGCA 15W adapter would work with my samsung gear s3.

Futhermore, since I don't have a usb-c to micro usb cable, is a usb-c to micro-usb adapter safe?

I have a usb-a to micro-usb. However, this adapter is usb-c.
