Could Netflix actually be slowing down their data themselves? They are known for having a deal with Comcast and was upset when Comcast was about to buy TimeWarner they started a little fight between the two ISPs during their earnings report. Comcast got upset with Netflix and told them and the press that Netflix is at fault for the slow content and connection issues, because they run all of their information through another company called Cogent. Cogent is just the middle man of the whole process of getting the content to your house and you have to keep in mind that all the companies are trying to make it someone else's fault.

Well i have a 50/50 connection and it was never full HD, i don't think it was because of my ISP because XS4ALL is awesome but just that Netflix isn't big here so they don't invest a lot in the infrastructure here.

the infrastructure is basically already there, they just have to cooperate with all of the ISPs and everyone would have great netflix
