DJI Pocket 2 - alternatives to consider?

I'm looking for a small handheld stabilised video camera, and I recently became aware of the DJI Pocket 2. Just wondering what else is there in that market I should consider? I believe there's an older model, and also there's a brand I've never heard of on Amazon. What is this device class even called?

Use case: making "walking" videos. You might have seen them on Youtube. People just turn on a camera and walk around. Easy content, and I need more motivation than Pokemon Go to do walking as exercise!

I wont be using a phone to live review the image, and I wont be live streaming. I think a phone on a stabilised gimbal is bigger than I'd like. Quality wise I'd like to aim for decent 4k which it seems able to do even in low light. Mirrorless class cameras are way too big. No specific budget in mind but let's just say the base Pocket 2 package is ok and I don't mind spending a little more on accessories if needed.

Accessory wise I might need a wide angle lens adapter of some sort, since the default FOV seems quite narrow at 93 degrees (20mm equiv.). I see they have a wide angle adapter but I don't think I need the rest of the stuff in the bundle it comes with. I saw somewhere suggesting there might be 3rd party alternatives to the ND filter set so I hope there's more, but I haven't looked into that yet.

I looked at a few videos reviews on it, and it seems ok, but I'd like to check if there's anything I'm missing when it comes to other similar products.

Can't really say much about other options, but I'm happy with mine (creator pack).

If you're not using a phone you've got to be real careful about not forgetting the focusing since the built-in one is too tiny to remotely show if it's completely off, can have some bad surprises.

I hadn't looked into that at all yet. I'd hope it would have AF if I were to have a close subject, but given my stated use case it would suffice to set hyperfocal distance and leave it.

It does have continuous AF, but as you say it's pretty much useless since DoF is huge so I like to not have it enabled since it's just more likely to start hunting for no reason. But if you disable it it means that should the initial AF-S when you start the recording fail everything's going to be blurry for the whole shoot. Gotta be careful to point to a reasonably positioned object and tap to focus - and you basically have no way of confirming it's good without a phone.
