Hi, I recently bought a hp pavilion desktop without a cpu, (bought it of Fb marketplace) today I bought my cpu a ryzen 5 5600x, the pc is supposed to use a 5600g but Best Buy didn’t have it. I installed  correctly my cpu, thermal paste, ect… but when I turn it on there is no display, bios or anything, all lights and fans turn on!! But what can I do to fix my no display issue?

The 3600g has integrated graphics while the 3600x doesn't.

That computer needs a graphics card to output video.

Since you didn't give specs on the computer we don't know if you have one. Only you do.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

It’s supposed to be this one :https://www.amazon.com/HP-Pavilion-Gaming-Desktop-Processor/dp/B09FZ41WP7

the only diference is the cpu, instead of a 5600g I installed a 5600x since I couldn’t find one in my country

Was the computer working before you swapped the CPU?

He bought it without the CPU so he doesn't know.

Selling a PC with everything except the CPU is extremely odd, in my honest opinion.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

The person I bought it from, bought it from someone else and took the cpu for his personal computer

Can you confirm what CPU it originally had and what you've now put in it? It went from 3600g and 3600x to 5600g and 5600x. These are very different.

Yeah, that's weird as hell. The 5600G is not that powerful/desirable a CPU that it makes sense to buy a whole system just to get one and then discard the rest of it. I'm rather suspicious you got sold a faulty system.

I don't think a 3600G ever even existed.

I don't think so either, but that's how the OP originally had it. A 5600g and an rx 5500 is an odd combo as well. I'm wondering if it had a 4600g, or an older CPU. If it just had something older and OP put a 5600x in there without updating BIOS the rest would make sense.

I wrote the wrong cpu the pre build comes with a 5600g and since it Didn’t y come with one, I had to buy one from Best Buy and the only one i could buy was a 5600x, other than that the pre build has all of its original components

The HP linked above on Amazon does in fact have that combo: https://www.amazon.com/HP-Pavilion-Gaming-Desktop-Processor/dp/B09FZ41WP7

Just prebuilt things. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
