These are two separate listed graphics cards listed on Amazon and I was wondering why they are so different in price. They seem the exact same except the one model has graphics ram type GDDR6 and the other is GDDR6x. I was wondering what this difference means and which would be better with the motherboard and cpu I plan to use. Planned Cpu: Ryzen 5 5600x. Planned Motherboard:

MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI ATX AM4

One is new and one is used.  One is gouging used trash and the other is a new GPU that is more reasonably priced 🙂

Edit:  This the "DETAILS" on the $14.99 shipping area, it expands and shows other used listings over $1k 😞

One is the being sold directly by Amazon, one is being sold by a sketch third party seller.

One is the LHR variant of the card which makes it less valuable to miners.

Both are badly overpriced.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

The two models you posted are

  • ZT-A30610H-10M
  • ZT-A30610H-10MLHR

The "LHR" variant means the card's Hash Rate has been reduced by Nvidia to discourage miners from snatching up the cards.

The ZT-A30610H-10MLHR model is being sold New and fulfilled by Amazon.

The ZT-A30610H-10M model is Used and probably being resold by a scalper trying to make back some money.

So would It be a good idea to buy the new LHR version or look for a different card.

Here is my list so far. The Graphics card on there is not 100% decided yet. I would like to stay around the $1300 mark which is where the LHR card I was talking about above would put me. I have a 1080p 165hz and a 1080p 60hz monitor currently, but eventually that can be upgraded. I plan to play games such as Call of Duty, farming simulator, red dead 2, and use it for college next year.

Look at the 6700xt, it is a bit faster than the 3060 in most games and similarly priced.

I'd look at cheaper motherboards, I have a hard time recommending one that is more expensive than the CPU.  Actually, it should never be the 2nd most expensive component, IMO.

I don't have suggestions, other than to say replace the motherboard and the above build is pretty nice.

B550/Z570 boards are surprisingly expensive. That’s about as cheap as you can get keeping bios flashback and WiFI built in it seems.

B550/Z570 boards are surprisingly expensive. That’s about as cheap as you can get keeping bios flashback and WiFI built in it seems.

Would it make more sense to go Intel then?  $00 board and a 12500k or 10600k,etc?

I done some more research and I think it would be better for me to switch to intel but the motherboards are still expensive because I want to get one with wifi. Here is the new list i've made but i not sure if I want to get the i5 12400f or the i5 12600k. I don't know if the upgrade is worth $100.

I've always liked Gigabyte boards, this is a much cheaper wifi one. Would allow a better CPU...  Also, motherboard should never be more expensive than the CPU IMO.
