First high end build need guidance

Budget (including currency): €2000~

Country: Belgium

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Popular AAA games, World of Warcraft

Other details: Build can be found here:https://be.pcpartpicker.com/list/3fv978, It's still a rough draft with the help of some friends. I'm not that good with pc parts myself even though i've been gaming since forever. So i'm mainly looking for guidance or suggestions for parts. I currently have a pc with a 1060 but bottlenecked by other parts, i'm opting for a full new build so i can give this one to the gf.

preferably with a card this high powered i'd like to play on 2560 x 1440 144hz. (Also don't care that much about RGB)

Edit: Mainly concerned about Motherboard having the right slots and the GPU cooling.

3080 seems good to me over the 3070ti but 3080ti is quite alot more expensive where i live.

And i already have a 1tb ssd

The i7-12700F generally has better gaming performance than the 5900X. It also does better most other benchmarks.

The OP build has a poor pairing of cpu cooler and memory modules. There is little point in using RGB memory modules since the cpu cooler will obscure the lighting.

I saw you both suggest i7-12700F instead of AMD, any particular reason? It seems like it's not really worse than a 5900x but yet its nearly half the price.

It's actually better except for jobs that can take advantage of more cores, e.g. cpu rendering.

And What about the GPU? is the VENTUS 3X good? any knowledge about it? I feel like the price is acceptable.

It's a decent GPU. Ventus is the MSI entry brand, more expensive models likely have more features and may use better quality parts.
