So I'm in the market for a cloud backup solution for my photography (currently have about 2TB to backup). Backblaze advertises on LTT and their prices seem reasonable. Is there any reason why I shouldn't use it? Are there alternatives I should consider?

Just figured I'd ask for a second option before I pull the trigger.

System Specs: Second-class potato, slightly mouldy

Rule of 3-2-1 when doing backups. Thats:

3 - copies of your data

2 - different kinds of media (Hard drive, Flash drive, CD or Tape)

1 - One copy offsite. (this would be backblaze)

Nothing wrong with them, but your data is only as safe as you make it. I wouldn't want to trust someone else with my only copy, so that's why it's important to use 3 chains. 😀
