Posted June 29, 2022 I have a honeywell ht-900 space fan that I use for hot weather since I don't have AC and for some reason it causes my corsair PC to beep whenever I turn it on or change the fan speed. Having it on doesn't seem to actually cause any issues and the PC and space fan are on separate outlet strips plugged into outlets that are far away from each other. Is the fan drawing way more current than it should and causing my PC to freak out somehow? I haven't been able to find anything about beep codes on their website for my pc, but I ended up narrowing the issue down to the old and probably faulty power strips that my PC is hooked up to through a careful process of elimination. Some new strips with highly rated surge protection are on the way.
